CDC Eases Travel Restrictions

LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Travel guidelines have been eased for the U.S. per The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC downgraded the COVID-19 risk in the U.S. from “Level 4″to “Level 3” on Monday.

In addition, the change involves at least 110 countries and territories including Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Spain, and Japan.

Japan is slated to host the Olympics this summer.

According to a CDC spokeswoman, 50 countries and territories have been lowered to “Level 2” or “Level 1.”

Countries ranked lowest for COVID-19 risks now include Singapore, Israel, South Korea, Iceland, Belize and Albania.
